What is matcha powder

Matcha originated in China.It was used for medicinal purposes in ancient times.

Storage conditions and containers


  • Sealed & Anti-oxidation: Seal immediately after opening to minimize contact with air and prevent oxidation and discoloration.
  • Keep Away from Light: UV light accelerates quality deterioration. Use opaque containers or store in a dark place.
  • Low Temperature & Moisture Proof: Store in a cool, dry area at 20–25°C with humidity below 60%. For extended freshness, especially after opening, refrigerate or freeze.




  • Handling Instructions After Opening


  • Container Transfer: If the original packaging (such as cans) has poor sealing, transfer the matcha powder to an airtight container or sealed bag for storage.
  • Double Protection: For long-term storage, place the sealed bag inside an airtight box to enhance moisture and oxidation resistance.
  • Prompt Use: Flavor and nutrition will gradually diminish after opening. It is recommended to consume within 1 month for optimal quality.
